Dear Sue...I wanted to let you know I received my Gypsy Wife pattern in a timely matter and in good shape despite the Canada Post strike.  I am not in a place to start it...it will probably be a next year's project but I have the pattern for whenever.  I am working on the Farmer's Wife 1930's quilt.  I am doing all 99 blocks with paper piecing.  I have 28 done.  I also have the Violet Craft elephant pattern that I thought would come next but after seeing the Gypsy Wife, I am not sure.  I plan on doing it in shades of black and whites, red, and grey.  I appreciate your personal touch.  I wish you a merry Christmas and trust you will have peace in your heart.

Dear Sue,

Thank you for your prompt delivery of my Quilters Planner which I received yesterday.  I will have fun planning my 2018 quilt year with it, as I have many UFO’s to deliver to myself and others as belated birthday presents for the grandkids.

Just a note to let you know that the Petunias arrived safely and I have finished the quilt top. I was a little worried that the fabric wouldn't suit but I took a chance as I couldn't get the one of Philip Jacobs that I had used in the quilt. (Old fabric and all).

I suits beautifully and I have attached a photo of the finished top. It's very pretty, pretty - not my usual style but I am using up old fabrics.

Thanks heaps for the quick return and having the fabric to buy.

Sue - way back in December of last year you sent me the pattern so that I could do the SAL with gnome angel.   It has been a great experience for me and I want to share a couple of pictures.   I finished the quilt yesterday, one day ahead of the deadline.

I have been looking, literally for an entire year, for this fabric. Fabric Garden in Australia was the only place in the world to carry it and I couldn't be more pleased with what we received. The flannel is incredibly soft, thick and isn't pilling, even after several washes, which is why I searched so hard for it! The customer service at Fabric Garden was outstanding as well. If ever we relocate across the Pacific Ocean, it will be my go-to fabric store. Thank you!

My friend bought me some Amy Butler's Lark fabrics for a Christmas gift and I have decided to make my 16 and half year old daughter a quilt for her 17^th (she will most likely get it for her 18^th though), we have agreed on a Dresden plate template (the pointed version) on white background in all of these fabrics.

They are so bright and colourful. I’m looking forward to making it.

I have just started a quilt using Tanya Whelan, Sunshine roses fabric some of which I purchased from Fabric Garden the fabric is beautiful and the designs are just lovely. My sister in Great Britain sent me a picture of a quilt using the Sunshine roses range and some of the material so we will anticipate the final result, I will keep you posted.

Thanks for the email. I am not sure where I comment, but here goes.

Obviously I purchased the Hex n More and Side Kick else where, unfortunately before I found your site. I love your site by the way. I have purchased a few gadgets over time and this is by far the easiest I have used. Everything just lines up so beautifully. I am impressed.

I have made two of the patterns I purchased the table runner and the biscuit. The biscuit caused me a lot of grief as the pattern instructions were incorrect. After much hair pulling I finally went to the Jaybird site and looked in the corrections and there they were. They had made a mistake in the instructions. Not very good the businesses that purchased the patterns for retail. You would have thought that they could have let their wholesaler in Australia know and then they could have passed it down the line. Not very difficult today as we are all on the computer. But never mind I am still happy with my purchases.
